Research Opportunity

We are currently conducting a research project on Project ImPACT for Toddlers in the San Diego and Sacramento areas! Eligible early intervention providers can receive comprehensive training in Project ImPACT as part of this opportunity. Details and eligibility criteria for the research project are available here: San Diego; Sacramento.

If you are interested in more information on the research study or would potentially like to participate, please contact casrc-projectimpact@sdsu.edu (San Diego and surrounding areas) or hs-bridgestudy@ucdavis.edu (Sacramento and surrounding areas).

Other Training Options

Over the course of our partnership, the BRIDGE Collaborative has worked closely with the original developers of Project ImPACT, Brooke Ingersoll and Anna Dvortscak. The latest versions of the Teaching Social Communication parent and practitioner manuals that include the needs of toddlers with social communication challenges were released in 2019. These manuals are available for purchase from the publisher, Guilford Press. Since these manuals incorporate many of the adaptations and additions that were developed as part of Project ImPACT for Toddlers work, a separate Project ImPACT for Toddlers manual is no longer available. Please refer to these excellent resources for information on using Project ImPACT as a parent or practitioner.

Similarly, new web-based training materials have recently been released from Dr. Ingersoll and Ms. Dvortscak. These materials include an 11-module online tutorial available for purchase and information on Introductory Workshops and a certification process. More information and details on the available training options are available at project-impact.org. Based on the availability of this new training, new access to the Project ImPACT for Toddlers online training is no longer available. If you already have a login or have accessed the course previously, your login credentials will continue to work and the course is still available.
